Ein besonderes Wochenende im RJM, kuratiert von Vera Marušić und vier internationalen Fellows – Tobi Bolaji Idowu (Nigeria), Yohannes Mekonnen (Äthiopien), Prateeti Mukhopadhyay (Indien) und Nayra Ramos (Deutschland/Peru) – widmet sich globalen und lokalen Formen von anti-kolonialem Widerstand.

ANTI-KOLONIALER ZINE WORKSHOP
Ob radikale Flugblätter oder handgemachte Mini-Magazine, Zines sind seit langer Zeit ein wirksames Mittel für Communities, um sich über gemeinsame Kämpfe und Hoffnungen auszutauschen. Als Teil des Programms stellen wir den Fokus auf Zines und ihre Rolle bei der Infragestellung institutioneller Kontrolle über Wissen und Narrative.
Macht mit bei unserem kollaborativen Workshop, bei dem wir kreieren, teilen und reflektieren. Bringt eure Ideen, Songtexte, Playlists, Erinnerungen oder ganz einfach eure Neugierde mit. Lasst uns gemeinsam etwas Bedeutendes erschaffen.
Der Workshop wird von folgendem Programm begleitet:
MASQUISARD. Toutou, der Erzähler – Eine Performance zu antikolonialem Widerstand in Kamerun (1955-1971) - in Kooperation mit dem Africologne Festival
QARAL - Andine Resilienz durch Musik und Tanz (von Antonio Castañeda und Co.) - nur am Samstag -
Eine Installation: Widerständige Nationen / Kein Kostüm – von Imilla Ramos und Jonas Müller-Kříž
Ein Dritter Ort entsteht inmitten des Museums - ein Ort der Begegnung, des Kreierens, des gemeinsamen Lesens und des Sichtbarmachens von Stimmen und Geschichten, die oft ungehört bleiben

This special weekend at the RJM, curated by Vera Marušić (RJM) and four international fellows – Tobi Bolaji Idowu (Nigeria – IFA Fellowship), Yohannes Mekonnen (Ethiopia – Henkel Fellowship), Prateeti Mukhopadhyay (India – University Bonn), and Nayra Ramos (Germany/Peru – University Cologne) – explores global and local forms of anti-colonial resistance.

From radical pamphlets to vibrant, pocket-sized DIY publications, zines have long been a powerful way for communities to unite around shared aspirations and struggles. As part of the program, we turn the spotlight on zines and their role in challenging institutional control over knowledge and narrative.
Join us for a collaborative session of creating, sharing, and reflecting. Bring your ideas, texts, playlists, memories, or just your curiosity. Let's make something powerful. Together.
